I am a South African citizen and my home language is Afrikaans. I live in the capital city of Pretoria. By profession I am an industrial engineer and completed by studies at the university of Pretoria. My profile on LinkedIN contains much more detail about my career and experience.
I am married with two children, the eldest being a girl and the youngest a boy.
I have combined my biggest hobby with my sport in the form of the game of golf. I am a golf-aholic and love the game. Although I play a lot I am still and probably always will be a high handicapper, mainly due to the fact that I started playing way too late n my life.
My other big past time is writing songs, playing guitar or keyboard and creating tracks of my songs as a "one man band". I played bass guitar in a number of bands when I was younger but nowadays I like creating music on my own. sometimes I assist a performer here and there to create tracks or record a song.

I am by nature a very positive person and also an extrovert. Even on the golf course, whilst socialising with my friends I frequently experiance the power of positive thinking and all the positive attitude aspects that go with it. I like writing about it.
